We received an offer from Mr. Ito, Automotive Dept. when TÜV SÜD Japan was still named TUV Product Service. We knew we might be able to obtain certification for the lamp more smoothly at a lower cost, and started to consider TUV to be a good service provider for us. We also hear that TÜV SÜD provides a vehicle certification service and owns know-how which enable us to know the flow of development of automobile manufacturers. It will be helpful as TÜV SÜD supplies beneficial advice on the timing of component certification. |

First of all, TÜV SÜD Japan can provide a faster certification service than other technical service providers. This is the strength of TÜV SÜD. This should be very beneficial for manufacturers, who want to launch a product in the market as fast as possible. Secondly, in Taiwan, like in Europe, TÜV SÜD provides integrated services from testing, issuance of the test report, and submission of the certification application to the Taiwanese government in a one-stop process. No other technical service provider provides services for the process after the issuance of the test report. TÜV SÜD supports every process until the obtainment of the certification. |
