E-mark for Electrical/electronic sub-assemblies

TÜV SÜD Japan is able to assist you to approvals for E-mark in accordance to ECE-R10. Although the exporting country must have an equivalent agreement with UN(ECE), many manufacturers exporting to various countries will benefit from E-mark as it covers many countries outside the EU. It is even possible to grant both e-mark and E-mark upon your needs.

How to apply

1. Application documents to be sent to TÜV SÜD Japan for technical check.
2. Testing to be completed within one to two days at a laboratory in Japan.
3. TÜV SÜD Japan, via German headquarter, applies to authority.
Approval number to be applied in advance. e/E-mark will be granted in 7 to 10 days excluding summer and Christmas holiday seasons.
4. Lead time for type approvals is about one month from application.
