On-site testing

On-site testing allows you to accomplish testing at your location. With specialized testing equipment, TÜV SÜD's EMC expert will visit the location of your request and conduct both emission and immunity testing by checking the testing environment. Normally, EMC testing can only be done at a specialized EMC facility including open test sites and anechoic chambers, but not all products can be tested at these facilities. Such products include:

• Large and heavy products
• Cannot be disassembled into smaller sizes
• Very long products with many optional units
• Operation restricted only in special environment, e.g. clean room

It is often difficult to adapt the testing environment to that of open test sites and anechoic chambers, but the experiences of more than 50 years of expertise will enable the testing at ease. With a successful test result, the Notified Body can also issue a Notified Body statement showing compliance to EMC Directive.
