IRIS Awareness 2 Days Training Course (Finished)

23 - 24 April 2009, 10:00 - 17:00 at Tokyo, Japan

TÜV SÜD Infoservice will provide you with IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) Awareness 2 days training course. IRIS is a standard unique to the railway industry for the evaluation of quality management systems, giving also the opportunity to improve the quality of railway products. The railway industry organizations having activties in design, manufacturing or maintenance can apply for certification.

IRIS requirements are based on ISO9001:2000 with additional requirements related to the Railway Industries. Some of the examples are RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) and LCC (Life Cycle Cost). IRIS is headed by the Association of European Railway Industries (UNIFE), and also supported by various organizations including SWISSRAIL, Danish Railway Group, Holland Rail Industry.

With participating in this tarining course, you will;
- get better understanding the clauses of the standard, and
- gain understanding how to prepare the company for an IRIS certification.
